Business buyers increasingly ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google which company they should pick. You get named when your site is findable in Google and Bing, your pages give clear answers to buyer questions, and other sites write about you. We take care of all three, and make sure every enquiry it brings is followed up within 5 minutes.
Why this matters for B2B companies now
Business buyers increasingly look for a supplier or service provider with a question instead of a keyword: "Which company supplies custom packaging in the Benelux?", "Which IT partner handles cybersecurity for mid-sized firms?" or "Who has building materials in stock for next-day delivery?". They ask Google, but also ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. The answer is a short list of names. If you are not on it, you are not considered.
At the same time, people click less. US research by Pew (July 2025) found that when Google shows an AI summary, users click a regular result in 8% of visits, versus 15% without one. Being named in the answer itself matters more than ranking at the top of the links.
How AI decides who to mention
- Google (AI Overviews and AI Mode): according to Google itself, this is still SEO. Your page needs to be findable and give a clear answer. There are no secret AI tricks; files like llms.txt are not needed, Google says.
- ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot: rely partly on Bing's index and mostly cite other sites than the company's own: industry portals, trade media, comparison sites and lists. Research on European B2B brands found that around 85% of citations pointed to sites the brand does not own.
- In short: findable in Google and Bing, clear answers to buyer questions, and mentions on other sites. Together, those decide whether you get named.
What we do
- Baseline. We ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google the questions your buyers ask and record who gets named.
- Get the basics right. Properly indexed in Google and Bing, consistent company data and structured data, and a page per product or service that search engines and AI understand.
- Answer pages. For each important buyer question, a page with a short, honest answer: offering, lead times, minimum order, service area and how to order or request a quote.
- Mentions elsewhere. Industry sites, supplier directories, trade media and partners, so AI comes across you in other places too.
- Fast follow-up. Whoever finds you gets an answer within 5 minutes, also outside office hours.
- Measure every month. Same questions, same systems. You see whether you get named more often and which enquiries it brings.
What it costs
The profit scan is free. After that we work performance-based: a small one-off build fee, and then we earn a share of the extra revenue that demonstrably comes from our channels. We agree up front how we measure that.
Frequently asked questions
Can I pay to be mentioned in ChatGPT?
Not in the regular answers. The system decides which sources it uses. What works: being findable in Google and Bing, clear answers on your site and mentions on other trusted sites.
How long does it take to get mentioned?
It depends on your market and the question, and nobody can guarantee it. Expect weeks to months. That is why we measure every month.
Isn't this just SEO?
Largely, yes: what ranks well in Google also shows up more in AI answers. The difference is the format (answers to full questions) and mentions on other sites, which ChatGPT and Perplexity rely on heavily.
Do you work outside the Netherlands?
Yes. We work in English and Dutch, for B2B companies across Europe.
